Working on high-voltage systems in motor vehicles entails dangers that require special qualification of all persons who may be exposed to them during their daily work. Particularly important here is compliance with the safety regulations in electrical engineering. The training stand dangers and accident prevention shows different dangers when working on high-voltage systems, allows to recognize danger zones, to learn safety regulations for working and the handling of protective equipment.
Module Cart Complete with HV1 - HV5 Training Module The module cart for holding the HV1 - HV5 training module consists of a movable apparatus with base cabinet for housing training modules and accessories. The body of the base cabinet has one door on the front and one on the rear.
Training module HV1 - Hazards in rescuing injured persons
The training module HV1 clarifies the presentation of dangers in the rescue of injured persons on HV systems. It comprises a simulated high-voltage battery including a vehicle-specific service disconnect plug.
Training module HV2 - Dangers when cutting HV lines
The HV2 training module - illustrates the dangers of cutting high-voltage lines under voltage. This test can be carried out both under AC and DC voltage.
Training module HV3 - Effect of body flow through electric current (AC/DC)
The HV3 training module can be used to illustrate the effects of electric current on the human body by means of a "grill test". In a closable transparent container, direct current or alternating current is passed through a sausage via 2 pole terminals. Due to the transparent test setup, the effect of the current flow on human tissue simulated with the sausage as well as the destructive effect is clearly visible. The setup can be easily cleaned after the test.
The "body flow" experiment serves to sensitize people in handling live parts and illustrates the importance of adhering to safety rules and the importance of using suitable safety equipment.
Training module HV4 - Activation trainer for HV systems in motor vehicles
The training module Activation Trainer illustrates the implementation of activation and reactivation of HV systems. It covers several systems from different manufacturers including vehicle-specific service disconnect plugs.
Training module HV5 - Insulation resistance and potential equalisation measurement exercises
The training module HV5 - Insulation resistance and equipotential bonding measurement exercises enables all necessary measurements to be carried out in addition to the all-pole voltage measurement as part of the decommissioning, repair and recommissioning of a HV system in motor vehicles. Using the built-in error circuit, errors in the insulation of the HV system (IT network) and the equipotential bonding connections between HV components and the vehicle body can be switched and measured in both areas.
