Training stand/functional model CAN-LIN bus with central electrics, Climatic control, airbag and comfort system
This training stand has been developed for practical use in training automotive mechatronics engineers in the areas of CAN-LIN bus, central electrics, Climatic control, airbag and comfort system.
An integrated fault circuit with 20 faults allows troubleshooting in electrical connections and practice-oriented work with standard workshop measuring instruments and diagnostic systems.
In addition, 8 further faults can be switched in the CAN data bus to enable troubleshooting in the data communication between the various control units.
The cable connections created between the control units and the installed components correspond to the original circuit diagram of the respective original vehicle. The plug connections were left in their original state.
The function model has a vehicle-specific OBD interface for connecting diagnostic devices, reading the error memories of installed control units and coding functions according to the manufacturer's specifications.

The training model can be expanded and upgraded with a driver and passenger door. The driver and passenger doors, including all components, are installed here.
This option allows various functions to be carried out, such as the basic setting of the window regulator. It is also possible to code the control units using a suitable diagnostic device.

All connections provided with a fault circuit are equipped with 4 mm test sockets and labelled according to the original manufacturer's designation. Other measuring points, such as the entire on-board power system unit, lighting system, CAN measuring points and many other parallel measuring points, are also designed in 4mm measuring points.
This allows easy access to the measuring points and prevents the original plugs and pins from being destroyed.
