B·O·B·3 is our new developed concept to get young people into technics,
electronics and programming. With the help of a little robot the kids gets
involved with interesting topics of sciences and technics. The interactive
programming tutorial teaches very motivating different topics of mathematics and
computer sciences. Pupils of lower grade and junior high school shall be
motivated to get a personal interest in the STEM-topics. Then they get a vested
interest and they can get more and more engaged in these subjects.
What can BOB3 do?
BOB3 notices if and where his arms are touched. It can send and receive IR
codes wirelessly and thus recognise friends, switch on its white headlights,
make its eyes blink in all colours, distinguish near and far and much more. He
can receive a binary code and be worn around his neck as a flashing pendant.
With the BOB3, students learn how it works and the basic principles of the
digital world.
