mMS Station Robotics UR3e
Teaching System Stand-Alone or Integrated in a mMS System

Item No.: 39980

The mMS Station Robotics UR3e can be used either as a "stand-alone" teaching system or be integrated into a Christiani mMS system, for example in the Sorting System Compact 4.0 or in the SmartFactory 4.0. With little effort, the robot station can be integrated into the respective overall system.

Due to the great popularity among customers worldwide, the robot model UR3e is used in the station. The manufacturer Universal Robots is market leader in the field of lightweight robots/robots.

The robot is already equipped with a special MRK-capable electric gripper. Since both robot and gripper have integrated safety elements, MRK applications can be realized, taught and trained (MRK = human-robot collaboration) in addition to conventional robotics applications. The modular mechatronic system (mMS) is highly flexible and particularly versatile. Thanks to modular function modules and different stations, it is possible to configure clear teaching systems that are tailored to the needs of the students and that enable not only theoretical but also practical learning.

The UR3e robotics station is securely mounted on a grooved plate with profile carriage. The powerful controller is located below the grooved plate. The UR3e station is additionally equipped with a sensor-supported workpiece holder. Individual application templates can be attached to a support surface with magnetic fixings. They support the learning of the basics of robot programming.

Typical tasks are: contour movements, pick & place, stacking, palletizing, etc. The scope of delivery also includes a vehicle model and a point light source controllable by the robot controller. This allows a very clear and in practice very common application to be realized: robot-supported welding/gluing.

The station is delivered pre-configured, ready for use and with application/program examples. For stand-alone applications, only the mains voltage has to be connected (earthed plug). When used with the SSC 4.0 or Smart Factory 4.0, network connections must still be made and, if necessary, further prepared signal lines must be connected.
