In the Clamping Unit, workpieces can be clamped so that they can be disassembled. Workpieces (cubes) can be inserted by a transfer device or a robot. The cylinder extends, causing the bottom part of the cube being taken apart to become clamped. Once the bottom part is clamped, the upper part of the cube can be removed. An optical sensor monitors whether a workpiece is present in the Clamping Unit. The operating pressure equals 4 bar, and the operating voltage equals 24 VDC.
