Supplement for Teaching System Heating Technology

Basic equipment for digital data acquisition, visualisation and evaluation for the heating technology teaching system with renewable energies. Consisting of:

  • 2 precision measuring devices, each with 9 inputs for sensors
  • Sensors for recording measured values for temperature, pressure and volume flow
  • Notebook with preconfigured measuring programme with graphical user interface

The following measured values can be recorded and visualised in principle at the training stands:

  • Training Stand S1: Geothermal heat/floor heating with 3 pipe circuits in the water tank as source or sink
    • Flow and return temperature sensor in the main circuit
    • volume flow sensor in the main circuit
    • 3 temperature sensors in front of the receiver to check the hydraulic balance
  • Training Stand S2: Fan coil as source or sink
    • Flow and return temperature sensor in the main circuit
    • volume flow sensor in the main circuit
    • anemometer sensor at the output of the fan coil to measure the air speed*
    • Temperature sensor at the air inlet and outlet of the fan coil
  • Training Stand S3: Solar heating with solar simulation
    • Radiation sensor in front of the collector as pyrrheliometer
  • Training Stand S4: Coupling component with buffer tank, plate heat exchanger (PHE) and hydraulic switch (HW)
    • Flow and return temperature sensor in the main circuit
    • 4 temperature sensors at the inputs and outputs on the primary and secondary sides of the PHE or HW
  • Training Stand S5: Heat pump with measuring and switching units
    • The temperature sensors in the source and sink circuits and in the refrigerant circuit available at the training stand can be supplemented by sensors of the measured value recording system
    • Volume flow sensors in the main circuit (source + sink) Ultrasonic volume flow meters in the refrigeration circuit
  • Training Stand S6: Hybrid collector as heat source for the heat pump and power source
    • Radiation sensor in front of the PV collector as pyrrheliometer
    • Flow and return temperature sensor in the main circuit
    • volume flow sensor in the main circuit
    • Current and voltage sensor in the PV connection
  • Training Stand S7: Wood pellet heating system
    • Flow and return temperature sensor in the main circuit
    • 2 additional temperature sensors in the mixer circuit
    • volume flow sensor in the main circuit
    • volume flow sensor in the mixer circuit outlet

2 precision measuring devices:

  • 9 inputs for sensors per measuring device, i.e. up to 18 measured values can be recorded and processed simultaneously
  • Intermediate storage of measured values via 8 MB flash memory; with data logger function;
  • the precision measuring devices are interconnected
  • The system can be subsequently expanded with additional precision devices if required

Sensors

  • 12 x temperature
  • 2 x pressure
  • 4 x volume flow via pulse counting

Notebook

  • Preconfigured notebook; with measuring program for recording, visualising and processing the measured values;
  • Interface with graphical representation of the training stands
  • Visualisation of the measured values
  • Processing of the measured values via table formats
  • Measured values and calculation results can be displayed in various diagram types, e.g. bar chart, line chart, pie chart, etc.

W-LAN function

  • The measured values are transferred from the precision measuring devices to the notebook via a dedicated W-LAN function
