The training course "Machine-based Material Processing - Part: Turning" deals with the machine-cutting production processes of turning. The various turning skills such as centring, drilling, threading, taper turning, knurling and deburring are dealt with in detail. Another focus is on the lathes and their functions as well as the proper operation and testing and setting of the machine functions. Furthermore, the tools and the alignment and clamping of tools and workpieces are described.
