This equipment set is used to teach the basics of hydraulics by means of exercises. Only industrial components of nominal size 6 are used, which are specially prepared for use in the training area. The equipment set is coordinated with the exercise book „Switching hydraulics - electrical operation (according to BIBB)“, which covers the BIBB exercises A-H and Z1-Z3. The exercises with the listed components can be carried out both on the Hydraulix 200 workstation and on the Hydraulix 300 workstation.
Through logically structured, practical exercises, the trainee should:
- understand the physical laws of hydraulics such as pressure difference, opening cross-section and volume flow,
- familiarise themselves with and apply the legal requirements and safety regulations,
- understand the function of basic hydraulic circuits,
- recognise the typical behaviour of hydraulic components in different operating situations,
- determine characteristic values and derive characteristic curves from them.
