The new SINUMERIK user interface is now even clearer and more intuitive. SINUMERIK Operate combines the well-known HMI-Advanced, ShopMill and ShopTurn under one consistent, innovative operating and programming interface.
SINUMERIK Operate is clearly arranged, intuitively operable and equipped with a large number of new, powerful functions. This enables the combination of work step and high-level language programming under one user interface and thus very fast, rational and intuitive NC programming and work preparation.

CNC programs created with SinuTrain for SINUMERIK Operate can be used on real machines. However, this requires an adaptation of SinuTrain to the SINUMERIK configuration of the machine. The adaptation can either be carried out by the user using the configuration tool that can be purchased separately for OEMs or by means of a service that can be ordered. Several different configurations can be stored in SinuTrain for SINUMERIK Operate so that a larger machine park can be operated. To ensure maximum compatibility with different SINUMERIK software versions on the machine, SinuTrain for SINUMERIK Operate can be installed several times in the corresponding software versions on a PC.
Intelligent functions support the operator in his daily work in the simplest possible way - e.g. screenshots with the key combination CTRL+P.
SINUMERIK Operate is also a new standard in user-friendliness when it comes to graphical support. Animated elements are a helpful function in this respect, as they anticipate every processing step and display it graphically animated.
Simple steps for successful working (Features)
When setting up a workpiece, the measuring process is presented clearly and concisely by animated elements. Complex workpieces can be manufactured in one clamping by simple and fast handling. Different kinematics are easy to set up.

The functional scope

license key (USB stick) of software 2.6 SP2 is also functional for software 4.5.
SinuTrain uses the Automation License Manager (ALM) to protect against
unauthorized copying.
Limitations of the Basic version
Use and scope of
functions of the various template engines depend on whether you have a license.
Without a license, only the Basic version is available to you.
For the
template machines "DEMO-Lathe" (1-channel 3-axis machine with main spindle and
driven tool spindle) and "DEMO-Milling Machine" (1-channel 3-axis machine) you
do not need a license. You can, for example, transfer workpieces and part
programs to the machine for program simulation and adaptation and then exit the
machine for further use on CNC controls.
