SYMplus PALplus Milling - Programming with the new PAL coding

SYMplus PALplus Milling is a learning and training program for CNC programming according to DIN and preparation for the PAL examination. This test is based on a new coding, which represents a considerable expansion in quality and quantity compared to the previous PAL command set. For example, a technology cycle can now be linked with position cycles even after PAL. And programming with R as an alternative to I and J and the integration of chamfers/roundings are also possible.

PAL Simulator

In the simulator - with all new commands and cycles that have been relevant for testing since 2009 - all NC blocks can be programmed in a "guided mode". Input dialogues, extensive help pictures and a meaningful simulation with magnifying glass, single block etc., also in 3D, thus enable targeted learning.

PAL multimedia

The extension of the PAL coding means more programming comfort - especially for CNC beginners but also additional learning effort. In order to support this learning, KELLER has developed a multimedia-based introduction in addition to the new PAL simulator. This allows the learner to familiarise himself interactively step by step with the cycle parameters. The subject of cutting data is also taught in a practical way.

SYMPlus PALplus Milling is provided as a download. The license is protected by a USB dongle. As an alternative option, the program can also be started with access data via a permanent Internet connection (CmWAN). All available standard postprocessors for generating NC programs for your control are included, including the 3D simulation expansion module.

    • Cm or CodeMeter - with CmStick (dongle) at USB2 port or
    • CmWAN or CodeMeterWAN - with permanent Internet connection
