This is a Mercedes-Benz cylinder head with 4 valves. One valve had to be cut away to show injection valve and spark plug.

  • Function of the 3 remaining valves
  • Function of the hydraulic tappet
  • Function of inlet and outlet ducts
  • Function of the cut-open GDI injector with Teflon ring (bottom, on the nozzle body), nozzle module, piezo actuator module, coupler module, fuel supply (high pressure), O-ring (leakage line) and electrical connection
