The Direct Shift Transmission training stand will demonstrate the possibilities of automatic power transmission without loss of torque converter slip and tractive effort. The transmission is opened in the area of the shift forks and equipped with a camera. Via a small monitor it is possible to observe shifting processes during operation.
An additional video output enables the connection of additional devices. An original instrument cluster, gateway and other components required for communication via CAN data bus are mounted. Conventional diagnostic devices can be connected via an OBD connector on the control panel. Hereby it is possible to read out the error memory and the measured value blocks e.g. for target/actual comparison.
The training stand is driven by a flange-mounted external 400 Volt 16 Ampere electric motor with frequency converter. This enables the control of the driving speed. This allows the switching processes to be simulated and observed in various operating situations.
