The swivel arm can pick up workpieces from one location and place them in another (Pick-and-Place). Due to the design engineering of the assembly, the two locations for pickup and placement must be in a straight line and opposed to each other at an angle of 180°, but their height can be different. The central component of the Swivel Arm is its gripper arm, at the end of which there is a vacuum suction device. It is driven by a pneumatic rotary cylinder activated by means of an electropneumatic valve. The vacuum suction device is also activated by an electropneumatic valve.
The swivelling angle can be adjusted using two internal or external end stops. Both end positions can be queried via the cylinder switch.
The operating pressure is 4 bar. The operating voltage is 24 VDC.
