The Gate model simulates a power-operated gate, including the main security components demanded by factory inspectorates, as used for example as gate of a production hall in a factory. The gate model consists of the sliding gate with two leaves, signal lights, several facilities to operate and to ensure security, installed on both sides, and a ventilator.

The simulated process shows the gate being opened to allow a vehicle to pass and then getting closed: When a mechanical switch is actuated the gate opens. According to the used program the gate gets closed after a certain time or user actuated. During the sequence, the ventilator that is attached above the gate runs to diminish draught influences. If a person or a vehicle is in the danger area of the gate, one way light barriers prevent the gate from closing. Additionally there are connecting blocks mounted on the leaves of the gate. The signal lights show the allowed direction for passing the gate.
