Christiani Industry Model Eccentric Press
Stand Alone Model

Item No.: 14817

The model Eccentric Press simulates a mechanical press designed as a portal frame machine, as used for example in metal forming industries. The eccentric press consists of the mechanical press, a store and a pusher to insert and withdraw parts automatically.

The simulated process shows a part being brought from the store to the press, where it gets “machined“ and then is put out to a discharge station: The start of the operation sequence is two-hand-actuated. The pusher transports the part from the store to the press, where it gets positioned. Then the press starts its operation.

After completing this process of manufacture, indicated by a mechanical position switch at the upper position of the tappet, the pusher brings the part out to the discharge station. The position of the part on the machine table and the presence of parts in the store and the discharge station are in each case checked by a one-way light barrier.
