Christiani Industry Model Climate Chamber
Stand Alone Model

Item No.: 14821

The model Climate Room shows a regulating circuit adjusting the control unit temperature and is suitable for lessons at technical universities. The climate room consists of a heating chamber, being variable in its volume by a portable side, a temperature measurement device a heating equipment performed by two incandescent lamps and a fan with various speed, being recognized by an alternator.

The simulated process shows the temperature in the room being regulated to a desired value affected by several upset units: A controlled upset unit can be simulated by varying the volume of the heating. Altering the volume is done by moving the portable side between two end positions with a motor. The actual position of the side is recognized by a potentiometer. Increasing uncontrolled upset units can be realized by opening the chamber‘s cover, done by moving it between two end positions with a motor. Thus the chamber, that is usually isolated, is under influence of the environmental climate. The change of temperature is caused by the several upset units is regulated by the adjusting units heating power and fan speed. Voltage transformers for input signals and power transformers for output signals are inherently integrated into the model.
