The AC multifunction motor can be used in control technology in three different operating modes:

As an asynchronous motor in star and delta operation with counterclockwise and clockwise rotation.
As a motor with separate windings for two speeds, with counterclockwise and clockwise rotation
As a Dahlander motor for delta or double star operation, with counterclockwise and clockwise rotation.

In order to easily recognise the direction of rotation as well as high and low speeds, a display unit was installed which is fed by a tachogenerator.

The AC Multifunction Motor enables all experiments with asynchronous motor, motor with separate windings and Dahlander motor.

Mechanical specifications The front panel of the board is made of 5 mm thick laminate, colour matt blue, and is engraved with white switching symbols corresponding to the built-in function groups. A sturdy plastic cover protects the back of the device and, thanks to its shape, allows it to be placed at an angle on the table to suit the work.
