On the front side of the training board there are two sockets with earthing contact for the measurement of

- Tripping characteristics of an RCD circuit breaker
An additional three-phase current connection (Cekon socket) enables the measurement of the rotating field.

With the training board installation test, the most frequently occurring faults in protection and installation technology can also be simulated. For this purpose, there is a plug-in panel with 2 mm sockets on the front panel. By connecting the sockets, individual but also combined faults can be simulated and loop and insulation resistance can be measured. A lockable protective cover prevents unauthorised access to the plug-in panel; this also makes the training board installation test very suitable for testing purposes.
To carry out experiments, the training board is placed on the table or hung in an A4 experiment rack for demonstration purposes.

The front panel of the training board is made of 5 mm thick laminate, color matt blue, and is engraved with white switching symbols corresponding to the built-in function groups. A sturdy plastic hood protects the rear of the unit and its shape allows the unit to be placed at an ergonomically favourable angle on the table.
