Note: The document cannot be used without suitable hardware.

1st edition 2018, 152 pages, DIN A4, four-colour, paperback

Suitable for the supplementary set Microcontroller Technology for mobileLab.

The experiment instructions contain numerous programme examples and tasks to programme yourself, using simple experiments to teach the transition from discrete digital circuits to programmed logic.

For example, the basic logic operations are first realised as programmed functions. Building on these basic elements, more complex programmes with time functions and sequence controls are then developed.

The trainer's booklet contains sample solutions for the tasks in the experiment instructions. You will also be given access to download the sample solutions as files. This allows you to simply load the programmes onto the microcontroller and test whether your circuit design works correctly. The microcontroller technology supplement kit uses a microcontroller board that is based on the widely used Arduino Uno development platform and is fully compatible with it.

Tasks included in the experiment instructions:

  • Flashing circuits
  • Running light
  • Construction site traffic light
  • Dimming LEDs with PWM
  • Logical links
